The System
In The Way, The System triad depicts the “machine” that moves the organization forward. At its core is Our Communication, surrounded by Our Tools, Our Processes, and Our Structure.
Our Communication
At the core of Our Communication is Language, which refers to the use of certain words and gestures that are specified and then commonly used and understood within an organization.
Language is propelled forward by Symbology. This is the unique use of symbols or visual language to impart meaning efficiently and effectively among all stakeholders in the organization. Symbology is also enhanced through Colorization, which involves the use of a special color scheme (such as red-yellow-green-blue) on objects and signage to convey specific messages quickly.
At the apex of Our Communications are Engagements. There are many types of engagements, including board reviews, snap reviews, relationship wraps and a group dialog process called “feel like sharing” sessions. These get-togethers are not merely meetings (a concept which often has a negative connotation). These engagements are different structures and processes that are designed to convey information and positive emotional content in a rapid, efficient, and energizing manner.

Our Tools
Our Tools are a means for amplifying our intentions. They support The System by allowing us to take a concept that’s in our heads and bring it into reality through some sequence of operations. They enable us to perform operations or create things that would otherwise be impossible, thus extending our abilities. At the core of Our Tools are those that are Energizing—tools whose function is to help individuals and groups build positive engagement toward a purpose or goal.
The Energizing tools are flanked by those for Synchronizing--tools for orienting a group to a current situation, creating agreement, or enabling simultaneous action. Strategizing tools facilitate analysis, planning, and prioritization.
At the point of this triad, leading the way, are the Achieving tools. These include various means for the successful execution of plans or tasks, as well as refinement of ideas or actions.
Our Tools broadly range from paper-and-pencil or other manual means up to very sophisticated electronic computer-based tools.

Our Processes
Our Processes are the ways and means for getting things done. At the core of Our Processes is the Triad Methodology. Triads are manifested in numerous ways, all of which have in common an organization of elements into threes and fours for synergistic effect. By utilizing triads, one is forced to think in three or four dimensions, instead of the usual two (dichotomous thinking). It ensures that one expands one’s thinking conceptually, and “covers all of the bases.".
The Triad Methodology is surrounded by the Development System, Time/Task Management, and with Diagnostics leading the way forward. The Development System is an approach that integrates long-term planning with project management, culminating in a series of tasks with clear, assigned accountabilities. It also then involves the assignment of personnel to a triad based on their desires, education level, talents and experience. From that triad, a person may grow to take on additional roles with other set or floating triads. All of these personnel assignments are in support of the long-term strategy development and task deployment identified through the Development System.
Time/Task Management is a unique form of personal project management invoked with and through one’s fellow triad members. It supports the implementation of the longer-term goals identified in the Development System.
At the apex, Diagnostics leads the way by providing the data needed to assess performance, identify gaps, formulate improvement plans, and evaluate the results of their implementation. This is accomplished through a series of continuous Business, Culture, System and Future audits that are performed real-time.

Our Structure
Our Structure is network-centric, and so has at its core Flexibility. A flexible network structural orientation implies the ability to take advantage of emerging opportunities through fluid and rapid response.
Flexibility is enhanced by Relationship Wraps and Building Blocks. A Relationship Wrap is an approach toward building high-quality connections between people, beginning with the relationship one has with oneself and extending outward to others. Since Relationship Wraps are the "glue" that holds together the people connections, they are considered part of Our Structure as well as a key element of communication.
Building Blocks are the configurations of fractal-like relationships in triads that will emerge as the organization grows: pairs of individuals (including lead pairs); triangles (sets of three people); triads (three individuals, plus a leader); teams (set of three four-person triads, plus a leader); units(set of three 13-person teams plus a leader); networks (set of three 40-person units, plus a leader) and other higher-order configurations. All of these sets of relationships are within the organization itself.
Beyond Building Blocks, at the apex of the triad, are the Alliances. These are connections of units or networks spanning across two or more organizations.
